Since he started it in 2016, Mike has served as the Founder and President of Hidden Star Resources, a non-profit 501(c)(3) assisting women and minority entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. He has overseen Hidden Star’s tremendous growth and the launch and growth of the online project: Galaxy of Stars which now has more than 300,000 members.
Mike has also served as CEO of New Leaf Staffing, LLC; a fast growing, unique provider employing more than 800 people in a $180 billion industry. Since leading New Leaf average annual revenue growth is 232%. Mike was formerly founder and President of an operator of discount veterinary clinics across Texas. He exited in 2016 and subsequently formed Hidden Star.
He served as the President and COO of Clearshot Capital Partners, LLC, a generalist private equity firm from 2007 to 2013. Clearshot invested in businesses focused in the telecom infrastructure sector. Mike has served in volunteer roles as a City Council member for West Lake Hills, Texas and as a Trustee / Chair of the Eanes Education Foundation.
